To provide the best services for your pet we ask that you make reservations ahead of time.
If this massage is for rehabilitation after surgery, we will need to get an ok for treatment from your veterinarian as well as a consult for a prescribed treatment plan.
As a courtesy we ask that you provide minimum 24 hour notice to cancel. Failure to provide 24 hour notice will be charged a $25.00 fee.
During extreme weather conditions that may create extreme driving hazards, we will reschedule a new session with no penalty fee.
To provide the best possible results of therapy we ask that children or other pets not be present during the session. We must have a quiet area without interruptions or distractions. No cell phone use, minimal conversations. Please be sure animal is clean or bathed at least 24 hours in advance if coat is dirty or matted. Animal must be dry at time of session. Do not feed your pet at least one hour before and after a scheduled massage. Due to the length of sessions, it is important to walk your animal, provide it the opportunity to drink lots of water, stretch legs, and allow it to pee and poop before and after each session. For best results after Rainbow Technique and massage drinking water and movement will allow the body to eliminate any toxins that were released during the massage.
You will also need to be in attendance for the initial consultation. You do not need to be present at future sessions, provided your pet will be comfortable without you. I will need to get a history on your animal during the first initial consultation. Please be willing to provide to the best of your abilities, any information pertaining to the health, certain behaviors and preferences of your pet including information that may or may not be relevant. Food preferences, unusual behaviors, sleeping patterns, reactions to certain movements or time of day behaviors, changes in weather, or reactions to other animals or people.
Please note that your confidentiality is assured regarding anything discussed during our sessions.
Payment is expected at time of service, unless prepaid packages are paid in advance. There is a $40.00 fee for any returned checks. For accounts that are over 30 days, sessions will be halted until accounts are caught up. Accounts over 60 days will be subjected to collection proceedings with maximum allowable interest charged by law on balance due. I currently accept cash, checks, cashiers checks or money orders. In the current future I will be set up to accept credit cards, Visa and Mastercard.
On occasion an animal just won't be receptive to any handling. We will work with an animal to try to get them to relax and feel comfortable which may take more then one session. But for safety reasons, we may have to decline if the animal can not adjust or feel comfortable. In the event this happens, there is no fee.
If during a session an animal bites, meaning break the skin or draw blood, or causes any other physical injury, any medical treatment resulting from said wound/injury to massage therapist will be the responsibility of the pet owner under Washington State Law. By allowing session to proceed, owner understands risk and responsibility of such action should it occur.
I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE, SHOULD I FEEL THAT AN ANIMAL IS SICK OR INJURED AND SHOULD BE UNDER A VETERINARIAN'S CARE, THREATENED BY AN ANIMAL, PERSON, OR SITUATION BY AGGRESSIVE OR DANGEROUS BEHAVIOR, OR IF I FEEL UNSAFE IN ANY ENVIRONMENT.
